Learning to adapt to single lifestyle after 50 years of friendship and marriage. Always was a good cook but now comes the cleaning, laundry, and grounds keeping. Sat down one day and figured out that out of the 50 years we were married I was gone for 19 of them. Both military and civilian jobs required significant amount of travel and prolonged absences. Sorry I will not be at this reunion due to knee surgery in Sep and sisters visiting in Oct (same time as reunion). have a great time and enjoy all that life has to offer.

Well its that time of year again to say Happy Birthday!!! Always wishing you the best and may you enjoy to the fullest. Not sure I will see you all in August. My daughter-in-law has scheduled a "Celebration of Life Mass" and reunion for my oldest son. He passed away 2 Aug last year. Have not made any definite plans at this time.
