Stanley Walter Payne was actually from the Class of 1949. He quit his senior year in January of 1949 to join the Army. Then in 1962 upon his return from Laos, he was able to take a class to gain enough credits to graduate in 1963. His 50th wedding anniversary was to be in Sept, 2003 with his wife Rita. He sent his bio for our 40th Reunion booklet for August of 2003.
