Judith (Judy) Ann Misson (nee Holzwart), 76, of Lima, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on March 9, 2021, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home in Lima, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

She was born January 12, 1945 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio and lived most of her life in Marion, Ohio.  Judy graduated from Harding High School in 1963.  She worked several years as a secretary for the Marion City Schools before taking time off to raise her three children.  Upon returning to the workforce, she worked as an office manager for several doctors and dentists.

Judy’s legacy will forever be the love she had for her family, and the selfless and kind demeanor she displayed throughout her life. She mentored and motivated her children by volunteering her time as a Preschool Teacher, a Bible Study Teacher, a PTO Room Mom, a high school band parent – helping to organize the concession stand – and as a Den Mother for Cub Scouts.  She loved to cook and bake and decorate for the holidays. She also enjoyed going camping and traveling on family vacations. Judy especially loved spending her summers watching her sons play youth baseball.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Thomas W. Misson of Lima; sons, Tom (Elizabeth) Misson of Avon Lake, OH; Joe (Ashley) Misson of Lima; and Wesley (Allison) Misson of Charlotte, NC; 8 grandchildren:  Andrew, Emma, Ethan, Alaina, Christian, Parker, Elijah, and Peyton; and brother Irvin Holzwart Jr. of Marion.
