Obituary for Constance Myers

Constance "Connie" Myers (Chapman), age 73, went to her eternal life with her Lord on Saturday, December 1, 2018. Connie was born on August 31, 1945 in Marion, Ohio. She grew up in Marion and graduated from Marion Harding High School in 1963. While attending Marion Harding, Connie played the clarinet in the marching band and concert band. In addition, she was the Homeroom President for two years, Homeroom Vice President for one year as well as a leader of the Senior Tri-Hi-Y club. She was also involved in the Play Prompters, G.A.A. and Pep Band. She went on to attend Ohio State Business School where she acquired an Associate's Degree. On February 5, 1966, Connie wed Roger D. Myers, of Marion, Ohio. They had three daughters, Michelle, Kim and Tracey. Connie and Roger divorced after twenty-four years of marriage, but remained the best of friends. Connie's professional career spanned thirty-three years with the Sportsmen's Alliance in various positions. She retired from there in 2008. Connie enjoyed The Ohio State Buckeyes football and basketball, playing darts, flowers and her family and friends. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, John and June Chapman; sister, Debbie Ford; daughter, Tracey Myers-Stevens; son-in-law, Brian Stevens; and granddaughter, Amanda Stevens. She is survived by daughters, Kim Myers and Michelle (Ed) Bame; grandchildren, Meghan and Matthew Bame; nephew, Lance Ford (Helena, Hanna and Joshua) and niece, Heather Querry (Don, Dylan and Kayla) as well as life-long friends Cheryl and Doug Hoskinson and Carolyn Harrison.
