Sharon Kay Ulrich, age 75 of Marion, passed away Monday March 1, 2021 at the Kingston Residence of Marion.

Sharon was born October 16, 1945 in Prospect, the daughter of the late William Lewis and Willella May (Donohoe) Saygrover. She attended in Marion and graduated Harding High School in the class of 1963.

On February 12, 1966 she was united in marriage to Stanley Lester Ulrich, the two celebrated 42 years of marriage until he preceded her in death on June 29, 2008.

Sharon was a devoted homemaker, lovingly raising their 2 daughters. Tending to her flower and vegetable gardens brought Sharon a lot of joy along with creating numerous quilts. She was a woman of deep faith and was a longtime member of Fairpark Community Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters: Michelle (Rick) Thomas and Stacie (Tommy) Stacy; grandchildren: Rob Crabtree, Josh Ulrich, Margeaux Thomas, Nicole (Aaron) Chatfield, Brandon Stacy and Hunter Stacy; great grandchildren: Lillian M. Chatfield and Colton Chatfield; and one brother, William T. Saygrover.

Visitation will be Monday, March 8, 2021 at Snyder Funeral Homes, Denzer Chapel, 360 East Center St., Marion from 4PM to 6PM; Funeral service will be Tuesday at the funeral home at 10:30AM with Pastor David Rush officiating.
