John Morgan

He was a good  friend.  He gave everything in his service to our country.

Charon Lee Barkley (Kelley)

Dick and I worked at the Big Bear Store during our junior year.  He always had a smile, was so cute and made me laugh.  I was very sad when I heard about his death.  Always remember Taps being played at his funeral & remember him each time I hear it.

"Augie Doggie" was so much fun and brought the war to a personal point for most of us.  His sacrifice was great but our appreciation is also great.

I sat next to Dick in Mrs Reeser's biology class. He (& other guys in the class of '63) would cup their hand, & then smack it into the side of thier leg to make a loud popping sound. Mrs R would whirl around & ask, "Who did that?" It was so hard to keep a straight face! I'm laughing right now just remembering it. Dick was a fun guy.
